Tennis requires you to be on the court for hours on end, constantly moving and concentrating.   • This program contains a lot of information and for this reason we have broken it up into 2 phases (each phase is 3 weeks duration). You will receive the first 3 week phase initially and then the remaining 3 weeks after 3 weeks.   • Before you commence the program you will need to complete some physical tests and assessments (These Tests and assessments are all explained). STRENGTH - PHASE 1 & 2

Repeated movement effort is important to improve, as it dictates how you position yourself on the court and ultimately how you hit your shots. These tough repeated effort programs will have you carrying out repeated on-court drills that will have you feeling lighter and more physically resilient on the court.

OFF FEET CONDITIONING - PHASE 1 & 2

AGILITY & AEROBIC TESTING

Everyone has varying fitness levels and we like to take this into consideration when programming. Before you commence your program you will need to complete an agility test and an aerobic test. This is high performance program and needs to be treated like it. What do I do when I finish the 6-week program?

Once you complete the 6-week program you should rest for 2-4 weeks, maintaining what you developed, following a maintenance program. After this time you can start the High Performance Program again and better your time, loads etc. You can follow the program 3-4 times per year, if needed.

 

What if I cant keep up with the program?

To get the most out of the program, we recommend players follow the specified program as it is set out. However we know players have time constraints, you will need to do what it takes to make it work the best you can. There are 6 days of training per week. The sessions range in duration of 30min-60min.
