What's Included In The Progam...

STRENGTH & CORE : LEVEL 1-4
Level 1 & 2 : Stage 1 (Age 7-12)
Players will learn the fundamentals of strength training. Using bodyweight and resistance band strength exercises. This is the safest way to build strength and prevent injuries in young players.
Level 3 & 4: Stage 2 (Age 13-18)
Players get introduced to lifting load (weight) when they are ready, using specific techniques we have used with 1000's of young players. This is an opportunity to maximize a player's growth period.

POWER : LEVEL 1-4
Level 1 & 2: Stage 1 (Age 7-12)
Learning how to dynamically move at a young age is important for development. These exercises will physically work on improving; Leg drive, hitting power, acceleration & braking.
Levels 3 & 4: Stage 2 (Age 13-18)
These explosive plyometrics and medicine ball exercises are designed for young players wanting more long-lasting power in their game. Combining tennis-specific bodyweight plyometrics (jumping, bounding) & medicine ball exercises are a must for young players.

CONDITIONING: LEVEL 1-4
Levels 1 & 2 : Stage 1 (Age 7-12)
These workouts introduce young players to interval training. Teaching them how to work at different training intensities (High, Moderate & Low). This improves their ability (physically and mentally) to work at high intensity then recover and repeat continuously.
Levels 3 & 4: Stage 2 (Age 13-18)
These workouts will be performed on the court, following specific drills & intensity levels aimed at improving a player's capacity to work at & above the threshold they would work at during play. It is the ideal way to get players physically and mentally prepared for tennis.

AGILITY/FOOTWORK: LEVEL 1-4
Level 1 & 2 : Stage 1 (Age 7-12)
These programs are designed to educate young players on how to efficiently move on the court. Improving their agility, coordination, and speed around the court is important at this age. Using specific drills and time intervals.
Level 3 & 4: Stage 2 (Age 13-18)
Follow a tennis pro as they take you through a range of age-appropriate, agility & footwork drills. Designed to improve; First step speed, change of direction, deceleration & speed around the court.

SPEED ENDURANCE: LEVEL 1-4
Levels 1 & 2 : Stage 1 (Age 7-12)
These running workouts are designed to improve a players endurance and ability to out last opponents. It is vital for long-term development and physical confidence.
Levels 3 & 4 : Stage 2 (Age 13-18)
Speed endurance is having the capacity to run at a fast pace time and time again, it needs to be trained in order to become proficient. This helps players maintain a high level of speed around the court for long periods of time.

FLEXIBILITY / MUSCLE RELEASE
Level 1 : Stage 1 (Age 7-12)
Often overlooked in a young player's development is their recovery. The better a player recovers the better prepared they are and less likely to injure themselves. Following the stretch & foam roller program daily will help lengthen out tight muscles, help you feel fresher, and reduce the risk of injury.
Level 2 : Stage 2 (Age 13-18)
Following these specific stretches will give young players the best chance of recovering between practice and matches. Stretching can be a chore for players, so these stretches are designed to have a big impact without hours of time spent doing them.

SERVE PROGRAM
STAGE 1 ONLY (AGES 7-12)
The serve is the hardest stroke for young players to develop. As they develop coordination, strength, and movement flow. This program is aimed at strengthening and protecting the shoulder and also improving the body's ability to move with more flow and stability through the service action.

TENNIS FITNESS TESTS
STAGE 2 ONLY (AGES 13-18)
Stage 2 Fitness Testing is designed to assess players Flexibility, Mobility, Agility & Endurance. These tests will be performed before you commence your programs. Doing these tests will enable you to know your starting point. You will then have some targets to chase when you are performing your training. Once you complete your program block, you will retest and see your improvements.
